stir-fried vegetables with shrimp paste
By AudreyHarris
Shrimp paste is not something that everyone loves, just like stinky tofu and durian. People who like it say it smells fragrant, but people who don't like it say it smells smelly. My husband and father don't like shrimp paste, but my sister and I love the stench. When I was a child, the shrimp paste at home was sent by fishermen, and it tasted better than this canned one.

Steps for stir-fried vegetables with shrimp paste

1
Remove the old stems from the vegetables, wash them and break into small pieces.
2
Heat the oil in the pan, add a spoonful of shrimp paste and stir fry until fragrant.
3
Then put the vegetables down and stir-fry them. Make sure the heat is high and stir fry quickly. If the vegetables are hot, they will turn black without oil. Just add chicken essence to season with broken green leaves. The shrimp paste is very salty.
