Steps for French toast

Syrup: In a small saucepan, bring maple sugar and pecan to a boil. Turn off the heat and cover the pot to keep warm.2
French toast: Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C, place the bread slices on a metal rack and bake until slightly dry, about 15 minutes.3
Meanwhile, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and mix in a medium bowl with milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon powder and salt. Slowly add the flour and beat slowly until smooth. Spread batter evenly in a large shallow plate.4
Remove the bread slices from the oven and soak in pairs on both sides in 3. Meanwhile, melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a 12-inch non-stick pan and fry the batter soaked bread slices in the hot pan until golden brown (about two and a half minutes).5
