Knife cutting steamed buns
By JazmyneBerge
I have failed to make steamed buns several times, and I will try again today. I really want to eat my own big steamed buns.
Recipe Recommendations
- flour 2 bowls
- eggs one
- yeast powder appropriate amount
- white granulated sugar appropriate amount
Steps for Knife cutting steamed buns

1
2 bowls of flour, and beat one egg into the flour.
2
Melt the white sugar in warm water, add yeast powder and melt all. Let stand for 5 minutes.
3
Slowly add warm water with dissolved yeast to the flour and blend the flour into a dough. Put the dough in a container, place it in a warm place, cover it with plastic wrap, and ferment for 2 hours.
4
Until the dough is about twice as big, peel open the dough and see that there is a honeycomb inside.
5
Further knead the fermented dough into a smoother dough. Let stand for 10 minutes and continue kneading.
6
Make a hole in the middle of the dough and rub the dough into a column.
7
Cut it into the right size with a knife and do less finishing with your hands. The blank of the steamed buns is ready.
8
Put the green steamed buns into a steamer and ferment for a second time for 30 minutes.
9
Turn on medium heat and steam the steamed buns for 15-20 minutes. Press the steamed buns with your hands and quickly bounce back. Turn off the heat, but do not open the lid immediately, and simmer for 5 minutes.
