Almond tofu is a summer food among Beijing snacks and a very famous dessert. It is mainly made of sweet almonds, ground with water, boiled, frozen and condensed, and cut into slices. It is named because it looks like tofu. However, now my family's cooking is not as exquisite as in the court. If convenient, you can use almond syrup instead.

Almond tofu is white in color, delicate and smooth in taste, sweet and mellow. It has the effects of moistening the intestines, nourishing the lungs, and relieving cough. In summer, put the almond tofu in the refrigerator and chill it. When eating, take it out and mix it with the chilled osmanthus sugar juice. The cold feeling is refreshing. This dessert is available in many halal snack bars in summer. If you like, you can pour it with puree, or garnish it with cherries, or raisins, depending on your preference.
