Steps for Shiyaki chicken leg rice

Wash the chicken legs and dry them in water, and use a toothpick to make holes in them.

Add pepper, salt, soy sauce, and five-spice powder and marinate for 1 hour, turning the dough several times in the middle.

Brush honey on the chicken legs when preparing to cook.

Heat the oil in the pan, add the chicken legs, and fry over low heat.

Fry one side until brown, add 2 bowls of water to the pan to cover the chicken legs, add some hoisin sauce, bring to a boil over high heat, and then turn to low heat and simmer.
