Hurricane cake
By CamylleOrn
This was the first time I baked a cake. Because I wanted to bake a birthday cake for my mother, I moved back to the oven and baked a birthday cake myself. Since it was the first time I baked it, I chose the simplest one--Qi Feng Cake. Unexpectedly, the result was quite good. The surface was not much cracked, and the taste was not bad! Hehe... I am quite satisfied with the results this time, which has strengthened my path of baking! I hope I can grow from a rookie to an expert!

Steps for Hurricane cake

1
This is the material map, which is the raw materials of egg yolk paste and protein paste.
2
Separate the egg whites and egg yolks, and use two larger containers (the basin for egg whites should be clean, oil-free and water-free). Add 30 grams of white sugar, 80 ml of salad oil, and 80 ml of milk to the basin for egg yolks (Set aside for later use, beat the egg white first)
3
Mix the low flour and baking powder together and sieve twice.
4
Add a few drops of white vinegar to the egg white and beat until it is rough. Add the white sugar in 3 times. Turn the egg beater in the basin to ensure that it is beaten evenly on all sides.
5
Add sugar the second time and beat until slightly smooth and nearly moist.
6
This is the beaten egg white. I forgot to take pictures of the last step of adding sugar. It is probably one minute after adding sugar for the second time.
7
Beat the egg whites and beat the egg yolks directly with an egg beater.
8
Mix egg yolk liquid and powder well. (Because the liquid content of this recipe is relatively high, it is not easy to cause flour gluten, so I directly used an egg beater to mix well at low speed, and then used a spatula to mix in the residue on the edge of the basin. It is very simple)
9
Use a spatula to dig one-third of the egg white into the egg yolk paste and gently mix well.
10
Pour the egg liquid into the remaining protein paste, use a spatula to turn it up from the bottom, and gently mix all the batter evenly with the cutting and mixing action.
11
Pour the batter into the mold, shake it a few times on the table to drain out the blisters inside, and make the surface even (this process is not photographed) After preheating the oven at 150 degrees, hold it on a baking sheet, and place it in the penultimate layer., the entire process is 150 degrees for 55 minutes.
12
Ten minutes later.
13
25 minutes later.

It's baked... The surface is not bad, except for a small crack, but for a rookie like me, I am already very satisfied! Keep working hard next time.

My photography skills are really bad and I can't take anything that looks delicious. Plus, I'm busy today and haven't done a good job in the decoration, so this cake doesn't look very delicious. Please forgive me... This is the first time my sister posted and grilled... I'll pay attention in the future.
