Honey bitter gourd
By WallaceWard
It is said that it is good to eat bitter gourd in summer, but I just can't stand the "bitterness", so I rarely make bitter gourd at home. Recently, I saw that one of the cold dishes in red beans was "honey bitter gourd". It looked very good at it, so I made a slight modification and tried it out. Although it still had the bitterness of bitter gourd, after all, with the sweetness of rock sugar and honey, it feels good to eat it.

Steps for Honey bitter gourd

1
Wash the bitter gourd, cut it, and rinse the seeds inside.
2
Cut the bitter gourd into thin slices (since this is my first time making bitter gourd, the cutting skills are not good).
3
Blanch the bitter gourd in boiling water (put salt and cooking oil in the water to keep it green) and place it in cold water.
4
Take another small pot, put a little water, melt the rock sugar, add the wolfberry fruit, and turn off the heat.
5
Put the bitter gourd into a bowl and pour in the rock sugar water. Allow it to cool slightly and then pour the honey.
6
Refrigerate in the refrigerator for more than an hour.
