Ribs with corn

There is a faint fragrance of corn in the ribs. At the same time, the corn absorbs the umami taste and sauce of the ribs. It is fresh, sweet, delicious and nutritious. It is an authentic Hunan dish.

Steps for Ribs with corn

Chop the ribs into inches, wash and drain for later use.

The corn is cut into sections, and each section is cut into four halves. Slightly beat the onions, ginger, and garlic, add appropriate amount of water to the starch and mix into a sauce.

Put a little oil on the pan and heat it up, stir-fry the star anise, cinnamon, onion, ginger and garlic until fragrant, and push it to the side of the frying pan.

Add in the ribs and rock sugar, put in the pan and stir-fry until brownish red, and color the ribs.

Add enough hot water, soy sauce, bring to the boil over high heat, and then transfer to a casserole over low heat and simmer slowly for 30 minutes.

Add the corn and cook together for 10-15 minutes.

Turn to high heat, add appropriate amount of salt to taste, and gather until thick.
