salty chicken cage
Salted chicken cages are a specialty snack in Kaiping. Some people may wonder why they are called salty chicken cages. Let me tell you, because this snack is shaped like a small semicircular chicken cage, hence the name. During the holidays, my mother would make salty chicken coops, so I learned from them,(*^__^*) Hehe

Steps for salty chicken cage

1
First, take 400 grams of glutinous rice flour, add appropriate amount of boiling water, and start to rub the glutinous rice flour into a ball.
2
Then start making the filling, cut the carrots, the vegetables, and the green onions into diced pieces, and stir well. Put it in the pan, stir fry it a few times, add salt, and it will be fine.
3
Take a small piece of dough, knead it round, then squeeze it into a round shape, and put a spoonful of filling in the middle.
4
Knead together on the edges. Just form a chicken cage shape.
5
The edges can be folded into patterns (if you don't know, you can omit them) and add sesame seeds.
6
And so on, make a chicken coop.
7
Then fry it in an oil pan,(forgot to take this photo). This is what happens after it comes out of the pot.
