Steps for Milk toast

Mix all ingredients except butter, knead and expand.

Add softened butter and straighten the fully expanded stage (you can pull out a very thin film and not easily break).

Knead into a round ball and place it in a sealed container to ferment until it reaches 2- 2.5 times the size. Stick some flour with your fingers and insert it into the dough, and ferment without retracting it.

Empty the air bubbles in the dough, roll into 3 uniform balls, cover with plastic wrap and wake for 15 minutes.

Empty the air bubbles in the three dough pieces in turn, use a rolling pin to form an oval shape, roll them up from top to bottom, and discharge them into the buttered toast mold on all sides.

Put a basin of boiling water in the oven, put the toast mold into the oven, and ferment until 9 minutes full (the boiling water may need to be changed 1-2 times in the middle).

After fermentation, cover the top of the toast and place in the preheated oven: Bake the middle and lower layers at 190 degrees for 40 minutes. It is possible to slice after cooling.
