Cyclera puguensis

Cyclera puguensis
I went to Butterfly Island on Sunday and ate this dish at a food stall on the shore. It cost 35 yuan. I was so angry that I wanted to vomit blood. Today, I bought the ingredients and cooked it myself. The snail meat is 5 yuan for half a catty, a melon is 1.5 yuan, 50 cents of onion, and the rest of ginger and garlic wine are 1 yuan. This dish only cost 8 yuan in total. Although it's hard, it's really worth it, and the taste is no different.

The snail meat for this dish must be fresh and free of sand. I usually do my grocery shopping in the morning, but if I am making this dish in the evening, I make sure to buy the snail meat in the afternoon. This is because by then, the vendors have already soaked the snails for several hours, so they have expelled all the sand, ensuring there is none left. Also, freshly shelled meat is very fresh; if bought too early and stored in the fridge, the taste will be different.
