Luffa egg soup
By MurielDeckow
I remember every summer and autumn, there are always loofahs hanging between the two trees next to my grandma's firewood shed. Every year, my grandma would plant two loofahs on this tree, and then weave a straw rope between the two trees. The loofah vines climb on the straw rope and bear fruit. Although there were only two trees, they were always fruitful. During that time, I ate a meal of loofah almost every day.
