Steps for roasted herring

Remove the head of the herring, remove the internal organs, clean it, cut it into sections and place it on a plate for later use.

Wrap the herring sections with flour and fry them in a pan.

Pan-fry the herring sections until both sides are golden yellow, remove from heat, set aside.

Raise another pot, add clear water, add onions, ginger, garlic, aniseed, cooking wine, white vinegar, white sugar, refined salt, soy sauce, and pepper segments to boil.

Add the fried herring section, bring to a boil over high heat, and slowly simmer over low heat.

When the fish is stewed, sprinkle in the minced leeks, and finally add MSG to taste.
