I specially made this dish to thank my brother-in-law for renovating our house ~~ It was the first time I made it, but it took me a day (I was busy), but the effect was good, so I shared it with everyone., hehe ~~

Steps for dongpo meat

Wash the pork belly and boil it in boiling water for five or six minutes.2
Remove the meat and rinse it in cold water. Then apply soy sauce on the skin (the color will be better). When the meat is cooled, cut into Mahjong shaped squares, and place them in the prepared casserole in turn.(Place the meat face down, skin up, and on the ginger slices), add rice wine, rock sugar, soy sauce, star anise, and spring onion segments, cover and simmer for an hour (turn to a low heat immediately after boiling on the high heat), after an hour, turn the meat upside down (skin down and meat up), cover and simmer for an hour, and finally use chopsticks to pick the meat into a covered container (which I put in my daughter's lunch box) and steam it for half an hour.
