Every year, during the season when bitter vegetables are on the market (called green vegetables in some places), many people buy five or six kilograms and marinate them at home. When they are cooked, they can be fried with many vegetables. The taste is very special. Especially when cooking rice noodles in small pots, add a little to enhance the flavor. That is the authentic Kunming flavor.
