frosted peanuts
By LizzieRoob
Delicious peanuts, paired with sweet sugar coating, are a childhood classic. Now I occasionally reminisce about it and miss it very much. When I have time on weekends, I can make my own frosted peanuts and treat them as a snack while watching TV. It's so comfortable!!

Steps for frosted peanuts

1
Rinse the peanuts with water, place them in a pan and stir fry over low heat.

Stir fry until the surface changes color and makes a cracking sound. When you smell the aroma of peanuts, turn off the heat, cover the pot and simmer for 5 minutes.
3
Add water and sugar to the pan and heat over low heat.
4
A lot of bubbles will appear after a while. Keep stirring with a shovel to avoid burning the bottom.
5
Gradually thicken the liquid and dip it with a shovel until it can be drawn.
6
Add peanuts and stir fry well.
7
Sift in starch evenly.
8
Continue to stir until the peanuts are covered with starch and sugar.
9
When the sugar coating dries, turn off the heat, pour the peanuts into a large basin, spread them evenly and cool.
10
Put it into an airtight container and take it as you eat.
