Rock sugar cake

Although this steamed cake is called steamed cake, it is actually not fermented. It can be steamed directly with freshly ground rice milk. Because I didn't want to grind rice paste, I used sticky rice flour and water to prepare it.

Steps for Rock sugar cake

Melt the rock sugar in hot water, add rice noodles and water to make a thin rice paste.

Pour water in the pot, put raisins in the mold, and put the rice paste into the mold while the water is boiling quickly. (This rice paste precipitates easily, so be sure to put it into the mold while stirring)

After the water boils, quickly place the rice paste loaded into the mold on a steamer and steam for 20 minutes over high heat. (If you use a shallow tray to load the rice paste, you can take less time)

Cool slightly and remove the mold.
