Steps for Steamed small hair cake

Mix the glutinous rice flour, starch, sugar and yeast together.

Add warm water and stir to form a particle-free slurry.

Cover with plastic wrap and let stand and ferment for an hour. (Volume becomes larger and there are many bubbles)

Pour into the mold and steam with boiling water over high heat for 25 minutes.

Steam and simmer for another 5 minutes.
