Fennel is a smell that many people can't accept. Even northerners may not necessarily like them, but I really, really love fennel dumplings.
I finally found fennel in the market in Shanghai, and I was very excited. People in Shanghai eat shepherd's purse, but I don't like it very much anyway. Every place has its own customs.
