I use silver carp as the main ingredient.

Today, I went to the market and saw that silver carp was only 2 yuan per catty. I bought one. I ate a little bit of steamed fish head, so I added fish tail and a few pieces of fish, and saved some for tomorrow.

Show off my chopped peppers. Every year, I bring a large oil pot of chopped peppers from my hometown. It's very authentic. The supermarket here buys a lot of moisture. The peppers are sweet but not spicy. They are still delicious. The peppers made by yourself are best made with the last peppers on the pepper tree in autumn. They have little moisture and will be preserved for a long time.

Chop the pickled peppers, minced ginger, and chopped green onions.

Take a bowl, add appropriate amount of tea oil, soy sauce, salt, starch, and sugar, stir well to make a thick juice. Use the right amount of salt, according to the salinity of the pepper you put. Coat the inside and outside of the fish head with thick juice, then put minced ginger on top, cover with plastic wrap and marinate for 2-5 minutes (this marinating time is 5 minutes in winter and 2 minutes in summer).

After marinating the fish head, place the pickled peppers and chopped peppers on both sides of the fish head. Pour the remaining thick juice on top of the pepper. You can also pour some tea oil on it. If you have fans at home, you can soak the fans under the fish head and steam them together.

Place the fish head in a steamer and steam over water for 8-10 minutes. The time can be determined based on the size of the fish head.

Sprinkle with chopped green onion or coriander on the steamed fish head, cover, cover and simmer for 1 minute.
