When I was in college, my husband and I always wanted to eat my favorite fish in Chenyuan Restaurant (a canteen in the school). I called it shoe whip fish.
Bian Bian is now running out with her husband and often miss China. On the day that she bought fish at the seafood market at the train station, Xixi, was it the fish at that time? I don't know.

    Put the oil fish in the pan and fry it on both sides until it is a little slightly yellow. Add green onions, ginger and pepper grains and fry it for a while. Add boiling water, soy sauce, sugar, salt, and simmer it for a while. Remove the juice over high heat.
