Steps for Purple sweet potato and rose steamed buns

1
Steam and crush the purple potatoes. My purple potatoes are exactly 200G.
2
Purple potatoes, sugar, and yeast are mixed together.
3
Add milk and knead into dough.
4
Place it in a warm and humid place and ferment it until it looks like there are many bubbles in it, twice as big as the original.
5
Then squeeze out the air bubbles inside and cut them into small balls like this. Each of my small balls is about 25G.
6
The divided dough is rolled into slices like this, which are bigger and thicker than the ones we usually make dumplings.
7
Press the rolled pieces together like this, and press another line in the middle. The more you press, the more petals there will be and the bigger the steamed buns will be. Generally, there will be 6 at most. No matter how many there are, it will not look good and it will not be easy to cook. I pressed on 3 tablets, 4 tablets, 5 tablets, and only 6 tablets at most.
8
The pressed pieces are rolled from top to bottom like this.
9
Then cut the two petals along the middle line.
10
In a large collection, there are 3 slices, 4 slices, 5 slices, and 6 slices. The smaller ones are the ones with few slices, and the larger ones are the ones with many slices.
11
This is 6 pieces.
12
Put the shaped steamed buns in a steamer. Brush the bottom of the steamer with salad oil or ordinary cooking oil. Keep a little distance between the steamed buns. After placing them for 20 minutes, steam for 16 minutes over high heat. After steaming, don't rush to take them out. Put them in the pan for about 5 minutes.
13
Fresh out of the pot, fragrant milky purple potato steamed buns.
