Casta bread

Casta bread
The whole family said that this was a fast and delicious recipe. Tuna fish with cheese was soft and delicious. On the other hand, everyone didn't have much surprises because this was the taste of castella bread!

Also, we don't like to eat too sweet, so I only added 50g of sugar (it's already very sweet), but the original recipe was 75g, so the sugar should be added and subtracted according to personal taste!

Steps for Casta bread

  • 1
Put the ingredients except butter together and knead until the surface is smooth and the gluten expands. Add butter and knead until the expansion stage, place in a warm place for basic fermentation. (I kneaded it in a bread machine and it was as good as Tuna Fish Cheese and Casta Bread)
  • 2
After basic fermentation, take out the dough, lightly press and exhaust, divide it evenly into 14 pieces, round and relax for 10 minutes
  • 3
Roll out the relaxed dough into a round shape, turn it over, add the filling, and wrap it into a ball
  • 4
Place the dough in a paper mold and allow final fermentation in a warm and moist place
  • 5
Finally, the fermentation is over, brush the surface with egg liquid, and print a few sesame seeds in the middle with your fingers
  • 6
Put into a preheated oven at 180℃, in the middle layer, add and lower heat, for 15 minutes
