Orange Madeline
By LloydJacobs
A good classmate of my daughter had her birthday yesterday and asked me to make glass biscuits as a birthday present for her. My daughter saw them at the same table and said she wanted to eat them. My daughter asked me to bake Madeleine for her. She didn't want to touch it at night. Thinking of her daughter's promise that she wouldn't slip her tongue, I baked a plate. There were no lemons in the house, so I used orange peel crumbs to make orange-flavored ones.
