Every holiday, my mother always likes to make tofu herself, and the beans are also grown by my mother herself. It is a pure natural and green food!

Steps for tofu

Grind the soybeans that were soaked the night before with a stone mill into pulp (but I still use a machine to make them not too tired for my parents).

Pour the slurry in the bucket into the pan and add heat to boil.

After boiling, pour the slurry into a container covered with gauze.

Then lift up the four corners of the gauze, grab it, squeeze it hard in one direction to filter out the pulp.

Then squeeze hard in the other direction, repeating this many times to squeeze out as much pulp as possible.

Cook the filtered juice repeatedly over high heat.

It becomes soy milk that you can drink.

Then use a tea bowl to pound the plaster into powder shape.

Pour the gypsum powder evenly and slowly into the cooked soy milk.

Then close the lid and wait for about 30-60 minutes. When you can see the shape of the bean curd, use a ladle to pour it into the container below (a special container for making tofu).

Then put a large washed stone and press it tightly, open it for about an hour to have a look.
