Steps for Brown sugar cake

1
Prepare the above materials. Melt the brown sugar first and wait to cool. Prepare a small bowl, pour in 3 tablespoons of beer, and then 3 tablespoons of hot water. Finally, add dry yeast. Stir well and let sit for a while.
2
If I have half a bowl of less brown sugar, you can add two bowls of water.
3
Then add wheat flour and baking powder to the brown sugar. Just one spoonful of baking powder is enough. Stir while adding. Just have the consistency like mine. Use chopsticks to push it aside and last for 2-3 seconds without falling down.
4
After stirring, cover the plate with plastic wrap and towel. Carry out the fermentation stage. Fermentation time is about 30-40 minutes
5
Sometimes, the paste is too thin and will not expand. We can see if there are many small bubbles on it. Small bubbles mean that the inside has been fermented!
6
Then when I made it this time, the paste was thicker, so it expanded, and there were also honeycomb-shaped voids inside.
7
Then, we can put it on the pan and steam it. We can take a piece of gauze and wet it. Before steaming, boil the water and preheat it together with the mold gauze. Pour in the batter after boiling, so that it won't stick after steaming! By the way, you can sprinkle some red dates, raisins, etc. into it before steaming. Increase aroma and taste

This is my finished product, and it was a success. But tell everyone not to pour the batter too thick. Like me, it's a little too thick to cook, and the bottom is a little rough ~! The steaming time depends on your thickness. You can take a chopstick and rub it inside. If there are no adhesions, it will be fine.
