Steps for stir-fried white rice with pineapple

Slice the pineapple, soak in cooled salted water for half an hour, drain off the water, and set aside. (I have tried frying it directly without soaking before, but it is very sour. So it's best to soak it in advance before frying it.)

Make rice in white, wash and cut into slices for later use. (In Fuzhou, we call it white dumplings, strips. It's equivalent to rice cakes in other places.)

Put a little oil in the pan, heat the oil, pour in the white rice and stir fry.

Add sugar and continue to stir.

When the sugar melts, add the pineapple and stir fry.

Pour in the pineapple and stir fry for 10 seconds to turn off the heat. (The pineapple will be too sour if it is stir-fried.)
