french fries
By EmelieWill
I really like to eat French fries, but the "Grandpa's" sells them too expensive. Today, I will DIY them myself and try it. I made the mistake of the previous method, but today this one is authentic! Everyone can refer to it, thank you.

Steps for french fries
1
First wash the potatoes and scrape off the skins for later use.2
Apply cold water (remove the starch on the surface), place the potatoes on the chopping board and cut them into strips, rectangles, as much as possible as they are sold outside, or cut them into wide ones. Depending on the individual, cut the width with slightly less oil. (Remember to soak it in cold water after cutting to prevent discoloration and affect the appearance)3
Boil water in a rice cooker until it boils and pour in the chips. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes and not more than 5 minutes, otherwise it will turn into mashed potatoes.4
Remove the boiled potatoes, let them cool (the moisture is almost gone), and then they can be fried in a frying pan.5
(I use an induction cooker. If it is natural gas or gas, use medium heat), heat grain and oil, burn oil over medium heat. When it is 60% hot, you can put it in the oil pan! It only takes 5 to 6 minutes to fry it. Don't rush to turn on the fire, otherwise it will burn and affect the color and appearance of the potatoes.6
Finally, I put it on a plate and ate it. I put it in a bowl and ate it directly. It was very enjoyable, hehe.french fries Make Tips
New potatoes are relatively crisp, so boiling them for less than five minutes is enough. As for old potatoes, less than three minutes is fine, because they are soft.
