After repeating this for 5 to 6 times, the boiled donkey-hide gelatin juice is filtered to remove impurities, concentrated with fire to a thick paste, condensed, dried in the shade and agglomerated, and then the donkey-hide gelatin can be used as medicine. The high-quality donkey-hide gelatin is better if it is black in color, transparent and bright, has no stench, and is not wet and soft in summer. E-jiao is mainly produced in Shandong, Zhejiang, Beijing, Shanghai and other places. The most famous products produced in Dong 'e Town, Pingyin County, Shandong Province.

Steps for Dried fruit gelatin

Knock the purchased E-jiao into small pieces and soak it in rice wine for 2-3 days, mainly to melt the E-jiao (but I found that if you put the bowl soaked in E-jiao on hot water, the E-jiao will melt faster, which saves time). Prepare all kinds of dried fruits, such as longan, red dates, walnuts, raisins, sesame seeds, etc. I only have red dates, walnuts and raisins at home.

Break and remove the donkey-hide gelatin with the packaging, pour in appropriate amount of rice wine. JM, which is allergic to alcohol, can be replaced with mineral water, and soak until the donkey-hide gelatin melts.

Pour the melted donkey-hide gelatin into a small pot, add appropriate amount of rock sugar, low heat, and slowly heat it, stirring constantly to avoid clogging the pot.

About ten minutes, the donkey-gelatin and rock sugar are all melted. When the donkey-gelatin is relatively thick, pour the prepared dried fruits in, stir evenly and turn off the heat; find a small container, spread plastic wrap, apply oil, and cook well. Pour the donkey-gelatin dried fruits in, press them tightly with your hands, and sprinkle them with sesame seeds quickly...& lt;(Black sesame seeds are better).

Remove it after the donkey-hide gelatin is solidified.
