Homemade Honey Beans:
1. Soak the beans one day in advance.
2. Put a small amount of water and the beans into a pressure cooker (400W) and cook for 20 minutes. Since I used flower beans, which take longer to cook, the beans remain plump and distinct after cooking. If using red beans, reduce the cooking time, otherwise they will become mushy.
3. Drain the cooked beans, place them in a bowl, add white sugar or honey while hot, and mix well.
4. After cooling, place them in a jar. They taste better after being refrigerated.
PS: It is best to finish the homemade beans within a week.
