pumpkin pie
By KarleeDurgan
I remember the first time I ate pumpkin cakes in a restaurant 10 years ago. I had 10 pieces in a plate, one for each person. I didn't enjoy them at all. I felt that the taste was so good. There were not many restaurants at that time, but later, I accidentally read it in the newspaper. I went back to my mother's house to learn how to make it. At that time, I didn't buy water flour. Instead, I used my own glutinous rice with cheese flour added to the flour. The bean paste was also made myself. The steps should be the same, except that the flour was not so delicate and soft. Later, I seemed to be very busy all the time, so I didn't cook it well for my family. A few days ago, a friend gave me half of a pumpkin, so I made pumpkin cakes. There is no market at home, so I will take my mother's home to do it. The family loved eating so much that even the 4-year-old niece came back from kindergarten and said,"Give some to the teacher." My father also went to pick four pumpkins, but they actually planted pumpkins at home. They just didn't like to eat them, so they couldn't be bothered to pick them. My father thought it was delicious, so he picked a lot of them back. When he was free on the weekend, he went back and cooked more. I made too little yesterday, so I gave some to my neighbors, and I ate about five of them. Cooking good food is not about eating it yourself, but about getting the delicious food eaten by yourself.

Steps for pumpkin pie

1
You can buy the bean paste ready-made, or you can make it yourself with red beans, stew it, crush it, and add white sugar.
2
Peel, remove the bags, cut into slices, and steam the pumpkin in a steamer. The fastest way is to put it in a fresh-keeping bag and heat it in a microwave oven.
3
Let the pumpkin cool.
4
Crush.
5
Add water to grind the powder, not too hard, as long as it can be kneaded together.
6
Knead the pumpkin into slightly larger balls.
7
Dig a hole in the middle and wrap the bean paste in like glutinous rice balls.
8
Knead into a glutinous rice ball shape and press with your palm into a round cake. Stick breadcrumbs and sesame seeds on both sides.
9
Add oil to the pan, raise the oil temperature to 60% heat, and add the prepared pumpkin pie. Fry until both sides are golden brown and the middle is slightly swollen, then remove and drain the excess oil.
10
The delicious pumpkin pie is ready. (When you start frying pumpkin pie, turn off the oil to moderate heat.)
