1. For raw cucumbers, it is best to choose organic ones. Wash them thoroughly and eat them with the peel on, as they are quite nutritious.
2. It is okay if you can't buy organic ones; regular cucumbers from the market work too. When picking cucumbers, do not choose those with flowers attached or those with uneven thickness. Fresh cucumbers are emerald green, crisp, and have a certain firmness; if they feel soft to the touch, they are not fresh. It is not necessarily true that the more prickles on the surface the better, but if a cucumber originally had prickles and they have all fallen off, it is definitely not fresh.
