Braised pork ribs with winter melon

Steps for Braised pork ribs with winter melon

Cut the ribs into slices and peel the wax gourd.

Blanch the pork ribs in water, remove and rinse well to drain. Cut wax gourd into slices.

Heat the oil in the pan, saute the spring onions and ginger until fragrant, add the ribs and stir fry.

Add soy sauce and light soy sauce.

Pour boiling water over the ribs. Bring to a boil over high heat, add star anise, turn to medium heat and continue to simmer for 30 minutes.

Add the wax gourd pieces. Continue to simmer for 20 minutes.

When the wax gourd is soft and rotten, collect the soup slightly over high heat. Cook in a small amount of salt according to taste.
