Steps for Sweet jujube and sweet potato roll
1
Chop the candied dates with a knife and set aside.2
Peel and cook the yellow heart sweet potatoes, crush them with a spoon back while they are hot, add glutinous rice flour, and mix into dough. Spread it on the chopping board and roll it into sheets. Spread the chopped jujube grains with a layer.3
Roll it up into a roll, pinch the mouths at both ends tightly, and place it on baking paper to prevent sticking. If you don't have baking paper, you can also grease the plate, and then place the rolled roll on the plate. When rolling, if the sweet potato dough is not easy to roll when sticking to the chopping board, you can carefully shovel the dough with a knife against the chopping board.4
If you use an ordinary pot, add water to the pot, place the plate in the drawer, place the drawer on the pot, and turn off the heat after steaming. I used a waterless pan, so I tested this "steaming" method: soak the towel in water, spread it directly in the pan without twisting, and put sweet potato rolls wrapped in baking paper on the towel. Turn on medium heat.5
When the waterless pot starts chirping (or some waterless pots do not have chirping function, wait until you see the gas coming out), hit the chirping hole to the off position, turn to a low heat, and simmer for about 10 minutes until the sweet potato rolls are cooked. Turn off the heat.6
Whether steamed in a normal pan or steamed in a waterless pan, please wait until the rolls are completely cooled before slicing them.
