How to Make Coffee Bean Cookies: A Simple Guide

Crunchy, aromatic, and packed with rich coffee flavor, coffee bean cookies are a delightful treat for any coffee lover. Here’s an easy, step-by-step guide to bake these irresistible goodies at home.

Ingredients:

- 1 cup softened butter

- ½ cup granulated sugar

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 tbsp instant coffee powder (or finely ground coffee beans)

- ½ tsp salt

- ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and mix well.

3. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, instant coffee powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, stirring until a dough forms. If using, fold in chocolate chips.

4. Shape the cookies: Roll dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the baking sheet. For a “coffee bean” look, gently press each ball with a fork.

5. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges turn golden. Let them cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Tips: For an extra coffee kick, sprinkle tops with a pinch of instant coffee before baking. Store in an airtight container to keep them crisp. Enjoy with a cup of coffee for the perfect pairing!
