Ingredients: 300g pumpkin juice, 300g flour, 20g powdered sugar, 3g yeast, an appropriate amount of red dates.
Instructions:
1. Pour the pumpkin juice into a container, add powdered sugar (made by grinding granulated sugar in a food processor, or you can use granulated sugar or fine sugar directly) and yeast powder, and mix well.
2. Pour in the flour and stir with chopsticks until well combined. If the pumpkin juice is thick, an equal weight of flour is just right. Note that the batter should be kept thick.
3. Wash the red dates, chop them up with scissors, and add them to the mixture. Stir with chopsticks to form a dough.
4. Use a spoon or chopsticks to drop the dough directly into a mold. If using a steamer, you can use a bowl or other mold. Some molds or bowls need to be greased first to prevent sticking. If the batter in the mold is not even, you can wet your hands slightly to smooth it out to prevent sticking.
5. Place the dough in a sealed, warm place and let it rest for about 30 minutes until it doubles in size.
6. Once the water is boiling, place the mold in the steamer and steam for 20 minutes. The resulting cake will be a beautiful golden color.
