Steps for Big red bean rice dumplings

Wash the glutinous rice and soak it in cold water for more than 4 hours. I usually soak it overnight and make rice dumplings the next day.

Soak the big red beans in cold water, place them in a pressure cooker, and stir in appropriate amount of white sugar.

Wash fresh brown leaves with clean water and soak them in water to maintain their fresh color.

Put the two brown leaves together to form a large leaf and roll them into a cone shape.

Put some rice into the cone first.

Add a few boiled red beans.

Add the meter to 1 cm below the edge of the cone.

Fold the edges together to form a tight rice dumpling.

Bind it with string and cook it in a casserole for about 2 hours. Note that the dumplings are best submerged in water.
