Kissing fish is what we call in southern Fujian. I don't know if it is related to whitebait. It feels quite similar. They are all transparent, except that the whitebait is bigger and the Kissing fish is very small.
It is said that calcium is rich and is very suitable for children. My children only like fried eggs. I have cooked soup and fried it, but they refused to join me.
