Mix rice flour and starch (6:1) with milk into batter.2
Bring a pot of water to a boil, then rub the radish into shreds and place it in the pot to boil. Be sure to leave the cover open (so as to evaporate the cold spicy flavor).3
Dice the mushrooms and Cantonese sausage and stir-fry them until done.4
Put the shredded radish, fragrant shavings, and sausage into the batter and cook over low heat (you must stir constantly) until the water dries.5
When the water is dried to a thick shape, place it in a flat square plate to shape, wrap it with plastic wrap (to avoid water vapor entering) and steam.6
Remove and let cool, cut into thick slices, put them in an oil pan and fry on both sides to brown (less oil).
