whitebait soup
By JosueTrantow
Taihu whitebait: It is more than two inches long, slightly round in body length, shaped like a jade hairpin, which seems to have no bones or intestines, is delicate and transparent, and has a color like silver, so it is called whitebait. During the Spring and Autumn Period, Taihu Lake was rich in whitebait.
