When I was a child, when I was jumping on rubber bands, I would always read,"A thump, Malan blooms twenty-one". This Malan head is a delicacy in spring and a favorite among my grandparents!

Steps for Hometown Malantou

Wash the Malan head and place it in boiling water and cook it.

After passing through cold water, use a clean piece of gauze to drain the water.

Chop the drained Malan head into pieces.

Put it on the plate for later use.

Cut spring bamboo shoots and soaked mushrooms and fungus into diced grains.

Chop the garlic cloves into mashed garlic.

Put more oil in the pan, wait until the oil is hot and change to low heat, add bamboo shoots, mushrooms, fungus, and mashed garlic, stir fry for one minute, then add seasonings.

Pour in Malan head and stir fry, and the aroma will be fine.
