The ingredients for making this dish.

Remove the gills and viscera of the pomfret and clean it for later use.

Make a few cuts on both sides of the fish.

Cut the ginger into slices and filaments respectively, and cut the shallot into sections for later use.

Spread cooking wine on one side of the fish body and marinate for a while.

Then turn the fish to the other side and marinate it with cooking wine for a while.

Apply appropriate amount of refined salt to both sides of the fish and marinate for a period of time.

Place ginger slices on the inside of the plate.

Place the marinated pomfret on the ginger slices.

Spread steamed fish soy sauce evenly on top of the fish body.

Pour in a little olive oil and sprinkle with shredded ginger.

Put the fish in a steamer, boil the water and steam for about 15 minutes. Sprinkle shredded green onions on the fish and continue to steam for 5 minutes. (The steaming time depends on the size of the fish)
