Steps for Taro Beer Duck

Chop the duck legs into small pieces, and set aside with green onions and ginger.

Peel and wash the taro for later use.

Blanch the duck legs in boiling water for about 2 minutes, and remove them. Put a small amount of oil in the pan, add spring onions and ginger, stir fry until fragrant, add duck legs, stir fry for about half a minute, add beer, soy sauce, and sugar.

Pour in taro, over high heat until boiling, turn to low heat, and simmer for 30 minutes.

Turn off the heat, cover the lid and simmer for about 20 minutes, then turn to the heat, add salt, and collect the soup.

1. I didn't add a drop of water, just put beer in it, so that the duck meat would be tender and smoother. 2. You can add some rock sugar to make the color brighter. 3. Be sure to put less oil in, the duck will produce a lot of oil once it is stewed. 4. Salt should be put late.
