Lotus root and duck fin root

Steps for Lotus root and duck fin root

Soak the duck fin roots for about 20 minutes, cut off the fat parts, and wash them for later use.

Peel and wash lotus root and cut into sections.

Without putting oil in the pan, pour in the duck fin roots and stir-fry until color changes.

Pour in boiling water and cook until it boils again. Remove.

Without putting oil in the pan, pour in the duck fin roots and water (just enough), add ginger slices and spices.

Pour in about a small bowl of beer.

Pour in the soy sauce until dark.

Add appropriate amount of rock sugar (this will make it more red and bright, you can use ordinary sugar).

After boiling over high heat for a few minutes, pour in the lotus root segments, turn to low heat and cook for about 20 minutes, add appropriate amount of salt, turn off the heat, cover the lid, simmer for about half an hour, and then collect the soup over high heat.
