Everyone uses long cowpeas to pickle sour beans. In my spare time, I used "pig ear beans", commonly known as "lentils", to pickle a bottle of sour lentils, and after cooking them. Taste and taste are good. Worth a try.

Steps for sour lentils

Pick clean lentils.

Change the lentils into slices with a knife (either shredded or diced).

Put it in a basin, add appropriate amount of salt and ginger slices.

Mix well and pickle for 1 hour.

Marinated.

Put into a clean, oil-free bottle.

Cover with a slightly deeper plate.

Turn the whole thing over again.

Pour clear water into the plate and place it on the windowsill to ferment naturally.

Change the water every day for 3-4 days. This is what it looks like on the third day.

Fermented finished product. It can be used to stir-fry different dishes.
