Summer is hot, so I always want to eat some appetizing cold dishes. Cowpeas in sesame sauce are the perfect match and are the most suitable for this season.

  • cold boiled water 2 tablespoons
  • garlic 1 tablespoon
  • sesame paste 2 tablespoons
  • soy sauce 1 tablespoon
  • vinegar 3 tablespoons
  • salt 1 teaspoon
  • sugar 1/2 teaspoon
  • sesame oil 1 teaspoon

    Wash the beans and cut them into equal lengths.

    Overheat hot water and stir-fry until done. Soak in cold water immediately and drain. (It should be blanched for a while longer and cooked thoroughly. Unripe beans are poisonous.)
