Alkaline water rice dumplings

It's another year when the rice dumplings are fragrant, and this year's Dragon Boat Festival is destined to be different. We can't respond to the country's call for three days off, because those three days are the days when graduates leave school. To stick to our posts, we have to work overtime in a row. We have to work overtime for two weeks, so last weekend I made some rice dumplings at home and celebrated the Dragon Boat Festival in advance. This is the first time I made rice dumplings. I admire my talent, haha
Recipe Recommendations

Steps for Alkaline water rice dumplings

Soak the glutinous rice for 7 hours.

Add 2 cents of borax (Figure 2).

Turn it yellow (in my hometown, my mother used straw ash or a plant from the mountains, but in the city, I could only use these food additives, so I had no choice.)

Take a piece of rice dumpling leaf and roll it like in Figure 4.

Use chopsticks to tighten Figure 6. The tighter it becomes (repeat it many times until it is full) is what people often say is very Q and like QQ.

Wrap both sides tightly towards the middle.

Then fold the long part inward.

Take a rice dumpling rope and tie it firmly.

Wash the bamboo leaves and wrapping string thoroughly. Boiling them sterilizes and makes them easier to wrap (add a little salt), particularly preventing the string from breaking easily.
