Wash the rice and red dates and soak in water for several hours2
Add some water to the blender and break the soaked rice and red dates respectively.3
Pour the beaten rice into the pot, add appropriate amount of water as you usually do for thick porridge, open fire, stir while cooking to prevent the bottom from being burnt. When the rice is almost ripe, pour in the shredded red dates, and after cooking, take out of the pot.
