Steps for Dongjiang stuffed tofu

Ingredients include: tofu, meat paste, shrimp skin, pickled mustard, green onion

It is best to stir-fry the shrimp skin in the pan (no oil in the pan, stir-fry slowly over low heat), so that it will be more fragrant. Cut the pickled mustard into minced onions, and then pour all these ingredients into the meat paste.

Add salt, oil, soy sauce, starch, oyster sauce and sugar, and stir well.

Divide the tofu into six evenly divided parts, and then dig a small hole in each of them.

Stuff the meat paste in. Be careful at this step. The tofu is easy to break!

Place the pan against water and steam for 15 minutes.

After steaming, it looks very fragile!

Thrust with starch, soy sauce, sugar, oyster sauce, and salt and pour on top.

The taste of fermented tofu made with water tofu is very different from that of fried tofu. It is smooth and tender.
