  • Farmhouse Gabaguo Make Tips

    1. The oil kidney beans can be sautéed in advance; if sautéed, they should be added later, otherwise they will easily become too mushy when stewed. 2. The pumpkin chunks can be cut slightly larger; this fits the bold style of Northeastern cuisine, tastes better, and prevents them from becoming too soft and mushy. 3. Do not add too much liquid; reduce the sauce at the end to form a crispy crust, and stew all ingredients until they are tender. 4. Ingredients can be selected according to personal preference. Chicken wings are optional, but they improve the flavor. 5. Seasonings such as oyster sauce or fermented black beans can be added for a richer taste, but I prefer adding Northeastern soybean paste; others are optional.
